Cancer Support Quilts
We received a thank you letter from THE QUILT, for our donation of our
Five Patch Cross cancer quilt. This year the project received 467 quilts,
bringing the total number of donations in the last eight years to 3,087
quilts. Many of the quilts will be on display in the Stratford Exhibition
from May 4th to November 16th at 55 Downie Street, next to the Avon Theatre.
Other quilts will be traveling east & west across Canada, hosted by
La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. Our quilt WEST B 464 - Five Patch Cross
will be shown as part of the Western Traveling Show and will be sold at
the Calgary Auction in November. All of the quilts will be displayed on-line
with bidding starting on May 3rd, 2007. Please check out this website
at www.thequilt.com.

This wonderful quilt block called 'Helping Hands' was designed by Brenda
Wauchope. Fifty blocks were received and the top was completed by Brenda.
Once again the efforts of Cheryl Westlake and Debra Graham were much appreciated
